Traveling around the country has given our family a perspective on our previous lives that we lacked while we were living them. You know how it is. Any time you’re in the middle of a situation it’s very difficult to see it for what it really is. A little distance often helps you gain perspective.
One part of life that we’ve missed has been the community we were a part of. I don’t mean the neighborhood. Some people love their neighborhood, but the people that we considered our community were our friends from church, and the people we worked with.
